MGM COLLEGE OF FOOD TECHNOLOGY, GANDHELI established during 2008 by Mahatma Gandhi Mission Trust, Aurangabad and a network of inspiring as well as dedicated academician who had a fascination to pursue in-depth teaching, experiential learning program and inplant training in the areas of food technology and "Empowering the art of food preservation"

The college is affiliated to Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani and Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research, Pune (M.S.). The college offers an undergraduate program of B. Tech. (Food Technology) a Four years degree course.

The present scenario of food processing in the country is rising with capital investment in food industry. It helps to expand urban markets for processed foods. The institute intends to act as a centre of excellence in areas of food technology education in Maharashtra and India.

We have a hi-tech laboratory and fruits and vegetable processing pilot plant. Hands-on-training on different food processing technologies, renting facilities and other supports are offered throughout the year to help the entrepreneurs to put in their innovative ideas for the development of new products.

Various subjects such as Food Production, Preservation, Quality Assurance, Packaging, Food Laws and New Product Development are taught with the help of well trained faculties and well equipped laboratories. College also ensures to give students wider vision in Food Technology by organizing visits of students to food product manufacturing units.
